Our
mission is to build awareness and promote the benefits of
water efficiency in Wisconsin. We will function as a
clearinghouse for water providers, businesses, and the
public on issues of water supply, source water quality, and
best practices for residential, manufacturing, and
agricultural water efficiency. We will focus primarily on
water efficiency practices that contribute to maintaining
adequate water supplies and healthy watersheds for future
generations in the state of Wisconsin.
2007 GOALS

Association members and local water industry leaders

wastewater management practices to the local drinking

ACTIVITIES PLAN
1)
Conduct at
least quarterly Committee Meetings to discuss Water
Efficiency needs for the Section and Utility employees at
large. Discuss existing practices and new developments in
the field of water efficiency.
2)
Develop, plan
and coordinate the details of the 2007 Water Efficiency
Conference with the WWA Chair and WWA Education Committee.
3)
The Committee
Chair will:
a.
Submit
Newsletters articles by designated due dates.
b.
Provide
Committee minutes and updated Committee roster to WWA
Central Office and update the WWA Website.
c.
Provide
Annual Activities report to the Secretary / Treasures 30
days prior to the Annual Meeting.
d.
Attend one
WWA Board Meeting in 2006-2007
4)
Provide
relevant topics and assist with qualified speakers to be
considered for the 2007 Annual Meeting Technical Program
agenda.
5)
Coordinate,
prepare and submit meeting minutes to the WWA Website
following each meeting.
